Ok, after holding off all year,I finally saw a deer that i thought was worth taking. I have seen this deer several times, before I grutned him into range in my food plot. Well, I took the shot and it looked decent, but there was no blood, so we backed out. We went in this morning and found some good blood in one spot, and that was it. We called in a tracking dog and it took him maybe 5 minutes to find the deer. He was still alive 18 hours later. It just shows how resilient deer are. I quikly finished him off and thanked God. I did not get a picture with my gun in it so it will now b a contest deer, but the groos score was 101 7/8.

Both of them were broken off, one is legal but the othr one is just a little short. In reality a 9 point, but before that a 10 point. That 18 hours killed me even more whenI found the deer, honestlyI would have rather missed the deer, and had no chances at him at all.
