A friend of mine has one and said you can get them at BassPro, but I can't seem to find what he's talking about when I search the online store. I was hoping to swing by there and pick one up.

I cut them off with a sawzall with a very long blade in it. Then, after they are cleaned and dry, I trim them with a coping saw if needed. A hack saw with a coarse blade works fine too.

I was hoping to get one of those little folding jobbers to do it. I don't have much other use for a sawzall to make purchasing one worthwhile. I appreciate the advice though!

A coping saw would be best in your situation. I only said sawzall because many people have them, and the obvious...POWER!
A cheap coping saw with a new blade.
