I borrow a Sawzall from my uncle when I want to save the antlers. Can't beat it. The hand saws are fine for legs and everything else, but those deer skulls are pretty hard and take more effort than really needed when compared to using a Sawzall.

Try a hand miter box saw. It has a nice wide blade that will give a quick and very flat cut.

For the most part I use a Dewalt Cep saw. Though I'd never not have a hand meatsaw in my shop. It comes on all my trips and works well for anything cutting/sawing related.

I was hoping to get one of those little folding jobbers to do it. I don't have much other use for a sawzall to make purchasing one worthwhile. I appreciate the advice though!
C'mon there's always need for a sawzall. By far the easiest method. Try your local grocery store butcher and see if you can get a bone saw, I don't think a folding saw will work that well. Well sure it would work, it'd just be a pain
