RE: Whats Your Deer Gun?
This was my first year hunting whitetail deer and I took my buck with a brand new 30-06 Savage 116FCSS with a Bushnell Legend 3x9x40 scope mounted on it. I was shooting 165 grain Federal Fusion and it seemed to do the job quite nicely!!!

RE: Whats Your Deer Gun?
I use a Model 70 in 270WSM for most hunting. I often have a Cow Elk tag as well as my Mule Deer tag.
Deer or Antelope only, I like my Browning BBR in 25-06
Trophey Elk, Buffalo, black bearand other bigger game I use a Model 70 in 300WSM
And I have several 30-06 that I keep around for spares and back up rifles.
