Deer & Grapes

I am thinking of planting a few vines in back of my place, do deer eat grapes?

Deer love grapes. My buddy fills permits for a guy every year that has vines. I know the farmers in the Finger lakes fence off vineyards because thay enjoy the grapes so much.

If you have deer around they will trim them for you free of charge ,just like Charlie said .

Hey Taz, I know of a house on my way to the hunt club that has grape wines and I always see deer eating the grapes. They have put up a pretty tall fence and I still see the deer eating the grapes!!!

I am heading up your way in the next couple of months. My sister-in-law is giving birth in March just North of you in Leesburg and my cousin is getting married in King George County in April.

Have a good day.
