I hunt over corn too buddy. No need to get upset. How much did the kids dad pay for that monster?
He did not pay anything. He is my girlfriends son. Might as well be my step son. And very proud to say the least.

best of luck

No contraversy just questions. I think it' s common knowledge people hunt over feeders in Texas no big deal. How much would it be to harvest a deer like that?

Prices are on a sliding scale here. Depends on what they score.

The deer in the picture would run $5000 to a payed hunter.

best of luck

Great deer.

I'm having a hard time getting 228 looking at the picture.

Do you have any of the measurements?

If I gave him 20" G-2's
15" G-3's and 5" G-1's That is 80 inches...

20 inches of abnormal points?

You still have to have 128 inches of frame...

That would be 44" of mass (on an 8 point frame)
30" main beams

and 24" inside spread....

All of those measurements seem rediculous looking at that picture.

Great job by your step-son then!!! I'm proud of him. I would "POOP" my pants if I saw something that big. Glad it was on low fence.....I don't agree personally with high-fenced deer.

i'm not knocking anyone's style of hunting, but you won't catch me paying 5 g's for ANY game animal. i only pay for licenses and hunt public land, i may never get my name in the B & C books but i feel i've earned everything i've gotten.

Doesn't B & C use inside spread, tip to tip spread, and greatest outside spread?
