Doe bedding areas in the morning. Thats where I have had most success. If you know its a bedding area sit there all if you can, even if does aren't bedded in there. Bucks will come and check them.

Hunt the does. Scrapes are not so reliable due to the fact that most (not all) scrape activity occurs at night.

I agree with USAF hunter, but will add:

If you have scouted and determined doe bedding or feeding areas, I would hunt them. Another good area to hunt would be well-used travel corridors between the two. You may get the opportunity on a buck that has intercepted the doesscent trail and come by you. From experience, the best time to hunt the travel routes would be early morning (get there before dawn) and late evening (couple of hours before end of legal shooting light).

Think of it this way, the bucks make scrapes to attrack does...Guess who knows where the does hang out better than you do????? Yes, hunt does, yes hunt areas with scrapes...You don't want to be right on top of a scrape anyway, because he may come by, 50 yards down wind to check in...But a good area has both does and scrapes...
