Help Needed for Saturday Hunts
Hello,
I would like to get peoples opinion. I am going bow hunting this Saturday morning trouble is I have not scoutted the area. I have three options for the area I am giong to hunt:
1. Go in just before light and find a nice tree and climb it and hope I am in a good spot
2. Go in wait till it gets light look around for buck sign and then climb a tree around the sign
3. Leave the climber in the truck and go in at first light and move around if needed and hunt on the ground.
PS - I am hunting public land so I probuably should not plan to move around alot. Don't want to mess up someone elses hunt.
Which option would you chose or is there an option I have not considered?
Cheers,
Chris

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention I have checked out the area with Google Earth so I know what the arials look like and have an idea of the terrian. I just don't know the best spot in the area. Still looking for peoples thoughts on each option they would do.

Chris

RE: Help Needed for Saturday Hunts
1) Can you get there Friday at allto get a stand in the woods?
2) Get there prior to anyone else...may catch one on an unintended deer drive.
3) Look for pinch points, natural funnels, and escape routes if you don't know the land.
Try topost an aerial or at least a topo.

TommyGunn and Canned Heat,
I have looked at the aerials I know roughly where I am going to set up.I will by archery hunting so I need to be in the exact spot. So I am thinking maybe I should go in after first light and find the deer sign and then set up.
Cheers,
Chris
