Well day number one is up ....LONGGGGG day ...set in the blind from 5.30 until dark ...saw a number of deer but no shooters ..... here are a few pics I made ...all at different times of the day ...I still don't think the bucks are in full blown rut yet ....but they must be getting close ...heard a number of shots ...

another ...this is my decoy Dorthy ...as you can see I have attached a turkey feather to her hind end so when the wind blows it appears she is twitching her tail ...seem to work well ..

Well Day 2 was fairly uneventful ....I saw a few doe's again and a couple of young bucks but still it does not look like the rut ....they more or less ignore one another ...it rained pretty hard for about an hour and 3 doe's just beded up in the filed ...heard a few shots but not a lot ...looks like its going to rain some and warm up the next 3 days ...I slept in today but will be back in the stand around 2 ...

Thought you would like to see a good Kentucky buck... I got this in Northern Kentucky, just south of Maysville, opening day of rifle season (Saturday).
