Default Lady Killed Albino Deer

The PETA people got mad. What do you think of hunters killing rare breeds? Leave them be or not?

Analbinois a screwed-up gene. Yeah, it's rare, cause nature screwed-up! I will admit though, it makes a good cape or rug!

First I wouldn't consider an Albino deer a rare breed. It is still a whitetail. The deer is just carrying a rare gene that affects the pigment. I don't see any reason to protect an abnormality that shouldn't be there in the first place and they normally do not make it to be of any size because they stick out like a sore thumb to predators.

Just my 2 cents

Kelly

I would have to disagree with you fellas. I have had one behind my house for over 10yrs. One the coolest things I have ever seen. She is unbelievable to watch and how she interacts with other deer. They are one in a million and we should treat them that way.

Some states have laws to protect "white deer" . We don't and I would not pass up the opportunity at a piebald or albino. It is a genectic flaw, not a sign from god.

I really, really, really, really, really don't like PETA-type people. As mentioned, it is a mutation in the genes, the more that live, the more that mutation spreads and eventually Albino could be the dominant coat.

I like how the video-maker posts a picture of an albino fawn at the end. What does that say? Maybe I should make a video about wolves just destroying other animals tearing them apart covered in blood and whatnot, and then post a picture of a baby wolf at the end. They are cute, so that makes it OK.
