Difference between VX-II and Vari-XII
What, if any differences are there between the Leupold VX-II and Vari-XII?

RE: Difference between VX-II and Vari-XII
As far as I know these are the differences. Both have the Multicoat 4 anti reflective lens coating on the outside but the III also has it on the interior side of the lens. The III has a few more reticle styles to pick from and some have a range estimating deal built in.
I think Leupold has a web page on the differences. Yep, I found it. Give this a try. http://www.leupold.com/products/Scop...ure_Matrix.htm I think that will answer your question better than I can. |

I think VX-II and Vari-X II are the same thing. Some people just call it VX.

RE: Difference between VX-II and Vari-XII
VXII and vari-xII are not the same thing but pretty darn close...The Vari-x II did not have Multi-coat but had coated lenses and friction adjustments on the windage and elevation. The VX-II has click adjustments and Multicoat on the outside of the lenses but regular coating on the inside. Both have a two piece tube. The varixIII has a one piece tube and multicoat on all surfaces.
