you shoudl be legal but it depends on the wardens perspective. In WI we have a 2 gallon limit in most areas where baiting is allowed.I know a guy who got fined for hunting over bait because a gravity box tipped over in a field where he was hunting and he got fined for illegal baiting. The warden was a prick, but the judghe through the case out and he didnt have to pay the fine when the farmer got called into court.
