How much is too much on one stand?

How many times in a row will you sit in a hot stand? If you are seeing lots of deer and not getting busted, does it really matter? The reason I am asking is becasue where I hunt, I have basically one good stand for the morning with the prevaillng winds.

shouldnt matter as long as you aent getting busted or rattling off shots from it everyday, and keep your scent covered as you walk to the stand and back to camp.

Watch your scent and Don't get busted and you should be alright.

I agree. If you are seeing deer and not getting busted, keep hunting it. If you get busted, let it sit for four or five days before you try again.

I always remind myself that every time I go to my treestand, I am leaving scent behind.
A mature, adult buck will realize that real quick. He'll know when you entered and left and from which direction.

If I washunting a big old buck that I knew lived in that area, I would let it quiet down for a few days.
Overhunting HIM is the worse thing you can do.

If you are still seeing lots of deer and decide to take a doe or smaller buck, then go get 'em.
Good luck!

I am kinda on the same track as the others...as long as you aren't getting busted and the deer are still coming in around that stand. Why wouldn't you want to sit where the deer are coming...and if it is a stand that you have been in several times, then so be it...
