Some of the states that require "solid" orange for hunters take a very hard line on that rule. Although Covert Orange appears solid at a distance of 30 yards, the high intensity UV dye overlay is visible to the human eye when viewed up close. We submitted samples to all 50 states and some replied positively while others didn't.
In time, we believe all 50 states will approve Covert Orange. In the meantime, our vests are reversible to solid blaze orange. Our hats however, are not reversible. Thanks for the question. |

Ok, here is the 10 things a hunter never wants to hear on opening day-
1. Their wife complains that she doesnt get to do enough stuff 2. Your kids want you to stay home with them and play 3.Your bosssays you have to go to work on opening day and finish up a project 4. You hit a deer and it caused major damage. 5. You forgot to buy ammo, and the store is closed 6. Your friend calls and says he quit hunting 7. The DNR sends outa notice that hunting has been cancelled for the year because of low populations 8. A warden finds you and he is new on the job 9. The fire department calls and tells you your truck was set on fire by an anti hunter 10. Worst of all- Your inlaws call, they say they want to hunt with you! |
