7" bases on my dad's 17 pt. My personal best on bases would be my biggest this year which had 6" bases and plenty of mass.

The biggest I have ever seen were on a 7 point, they were as big around as my wrist. This was the biggest 7 point I have ever seen, my cousin shot it in 74-75, he dressed out at 210. I do not have a tape measure here, but I would bet they were well over 7 inches.

The biggest I've seen is probably one my grandpa killed a long time ago. I tried putting hand around it and it got almost 2/3 the way around it. Was just slightly bigger than a baseball. I try getting a pic up of it.

Hmmm, probablly my buck from this year 6 inch base on the right and 5 inch on the left. Anyways, I have a question for you KSHunter, HOW DO YOU FIND/SHOOT SOOO MANY HUGE DEER? I see pics on here just about every week of bucks that you have shot, found, your grandparents have shot, your brother has shot..... They are all ENOURMOUS. I know you live in Kansas but deer like that just don't walk out of everywhere. How do you manage to get those brutes?
Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

This the only pic I found of it, doesn't really show the bases real great. It's the only buck my grandfather ever mounted, and it was a long time ago. Had 21 points, counting all the kickers over an inch, and 24" spread. Not all that huge of a rack, just had some big bases, about an inch in between them. Buck Magnet, most people around here pass up the young ones, so they have a chance to get mature, and we hunt a lot of acre's. Just click the link.
