ruined food plot

The food plot I bow hunt is ruined. The neighboors cows got out and trampled and ate everything. Is this area now useless. What are the odd of seeing any deer on it the rest of the year?

If themajority of the plants are gone, just overseed with more seed and when they get up fertilize. It should be growing in a week or so with some rain. Just keep the cows out.

It will grow back out and probably wont make a major impact. Cowseat with their toungues so they usually cant get their mouth down low enough to rip theplants out of the ground. Some of the best hunting I know of in MS is in pastures.

Beef tastes better than deer. Maybe you should hunt cattle instead.
