advice on hunt
I am graduating from high school this year, and my dad said as a graduation present he will take me on a big game hunt.
he gave me the choices of:
Elk or mule deer out west.
Caribou in quebec
Or big whitetails in ontario at lake despair lodge where he was successful in harvesting a large buck.
If any one has any good stories or know where to go to be successful please let me know.

ok, hunting in canada, you're probably not gonna see alot of bucks, but if you do, it has a good chance of being a big one.
elk or mule deer has better odds, plus the scenery is GORGEOUS. depends on whether its the rut or not.
Caribou is kinda hit or miss. if you're in the right place while they're migrating, you're going to see hundreds, if not thousands, of caribou. if you're in front of the migration, or behind it, you could see a few or possibly no 'bous.

Go for the Elk/Mule Deer, you cannot beat the scenery!! Hunting isn't bad either
