is it true that if you hunt with a licenced hunter that you dont have to get your hunters safety course till you turn 16

That is true (at least here in NC) but you need to get your own tags. You can get them for free from any Wildlife Service Agent in the area.

I dont know, but it is a wise choice to enroll in Hunter Safety. Its also pretty fun too.

It differs from each state. here in missouri you can take your HSC at 11 or 12. and you have to have it to get your tags or liscense unless your under 12 and are doing youth hunt.
