Default rubs by a stand

I found rubs last week. I was wondering if I should set up a stand close to the rubs for next fall? I have read that generally deer signpost in the same spots year to year.

Default RE: rubs by a stand

I'd say it's probably a good starting point. But in My area the deer normally don't live year to year, but if it's a real desireable spot, like a point where a hollow or valley peaks on the top of a ridge, or a "funnel" of laural that runs through open hardwoods, or a laural infested bench just down from the ridgetop, then the chances are that another buck will claim the same ground the following year.
