Hornady sst 12 ga slug ammo

hasanyone shot these slugs and are they suppose to be good. I have a Rossi single shot 12 ga slug gun and was looking for the best round to use for deer hunting.

I shoot them out of my 11-87. So far they are the best grouping slug I have ever shot, not to mention flatest shooting. As with all slug guns your going to have to shoot a few different brands to see witch your gun shoots best. Take a look at the Firearm Review Forum - there are a few different posts there about slugs with a lot of imput from different people.

My brother shoots them through his 870, and he shoots some really tight patterns now!!!! but every gun shoots different kinds of ammo better than others, try a couple snd see what works best. Remember, just cause there the most expensive doesnt mean there the best for your gun!!!!!!
