Default Locked up and dead

These bucks were found on the neighbors farm in mid Sept. The WI DNR now has them. My brother took the picture. Kinda early for that kind of fight I thought.

Saw the same thing 35 years ago. Darndest thing and what a waste. But you definately don't want to get close and try to seperate them while they still have any strength left unless you want to become an antler ornament. If you do see two locked up, call your DNR and hopefully they can tranquilize them to seperate them.

It is a shame but we all know it happens just like I see at least 50 dead der on the side of the road in a 15 mile stretch here at home such a shame and no one will let you hunt.

i have 2 bucks on my wall, that my grandpa killed in the 1940's...
the "story" is that they were fighting and locked, so he got to shoot them both after the 1st one dropped dead.
its the 2 older Mounts, on each side of the Bulls Head.
these were killed down around Three Rivers - Alice Texas. 1940s or 50s
