This time of year it's probably EHD, drought years are bad for that and this year is no exception. They may call it "blue tongue" where you live.

Last year my dad and I founda little6 point right next to a creek in our woods...with no apparent reason to be dead....no wounds or bullet holes.

If the legs were broken and only its liver was missing it could have been sasquatch.

ehd isnt bluetongue. nats carry ehd and when they bite a deer it kills them but not instantly. i would say that it is ehd . if it has any marks on it then its probably ehd but if there isnt any marks then its bluetongue. i live in southern indiana and we have a deer farm and we have bluetongue and ehd

I live in Northern WV. We have found 8 dead deer so far in the last two weeks. There is no freezing weather in sight for the next seven day's. I am starting to worry a little bit. One yealing buck, and seven does. no young ones yet. I spoke to a game warden on Monday. He said the disease has not affected the fawns very much?? I am not sure why?? Tom.
