They should be showing up again where they were ruting last year after about a week, but with apples they should be showing them selves sooner. Good luck

We can not use apples so we rely on mother nature and scents. During the pre-rut bucks just take off and start sizing each other up. Does and does with lambs will be alone then until the rut starts up and then they will be tearing up the ground. Keep in mind tho that big bucks travel during this time and go from doe to doe as they move around and more commonly traveling from herd to herd.
