Default What is left of corn after deer eat it?

I'm talking about the 50lb. bagged corn. I set out my feeder last weekend and whet back to check it and the kernels that were ate just looked like they were crushed, kinda like corn meal. is that deer that does that are something else?

Squirrels will only eat the germ out of the kernel. Maybe it's that.

Its squirrels for sure. The only nutritional value of a kernel of corn is the starch in the center. Thats why when you eat sweet corn you see it agian when it comes out. lol. Your body can only digest the starch of kernels. Deer are the same as any other animal but the squirrel takes a more efficient means of eating corn cuz they have the ability to crack it open. This way they get less waste food taking up space in their little tree rat bellies. WCL

Anything in the woods will eat corn. I have pictures of coyotes, coons, squirrels, rats, turkeys, possums, dogs, crows and other birds, as well as deer eating it just this month. If it looks like corn mealthat sounds like weevils or other insects chewing it up.
