Texas Deer Hunting Trip
Is $500 per day per personto hunt a 1600 private ranch with meals and lodging provided priced right for you? I assume for that price the tags are included.

How does the per day thing work? Do you have to stay so many days and if you kill a animal do you have to pay more money? I charge a flat rate for seven days and the price varies on what you want as far as lodging, meals, and guiding. I'm just unfamiliar with a per day stile hunt.

When you register, you set up how many days you want to stay at the hunting site.

Watch out for the extras, ie trophy fees, skinning fees, etc.

I can promise you that $500 per day, meals and lodging included but not your license will not get you any kind of guarantee on size of buck you will kill. If it does you had better run the other way. Average price for a hunt that will almost guarantee you a 150 class buck will start at $5500 with no trophy fees. Trophy fees usually start after the 150 class with many ranches. A 140 class hunt will run anywhere from $3,000-$4,000, I am talking about extremely high success ratio hunts. What you have to realize too no matter whaty'all think about hunts price like thisthey stay booked full year after year after year.

RE: Texas Deer Hunting Trip
I wouldnt pay that kind of money thats for sure.Itis not worth it IMO. Hunting is about more then bagging some fenced inmonster and it keeps my $5500 in my pocket. Its to bad that greed consumes a huge number of the population and that it spreads like cancer. I know its lots of work and all that but it is not worth it.
