I'm going to purchase my first deer rifle and I'm leaning towarda remington pump .270 (i'm left handed). Any suggestions?

Thats a great gun for deer. There are lots of great calibres for deer, i personally use a 30.06 but i also use it for elk and moose and the 30.06 has a great range of bullets thats why i like it. You can use the .270 for deer, coyotes, and even up to elk and black bear. So i think you made a wise choice.

LH here as well, started with a 7600 in a 308win. myself. Have also had 7600's in 270win and 3006 sprg. I still have my 7600 chambered in a 270win, as it was the first rifle I bought with my own money and it shoots very well. I now use/prefer LH bolt actions.

Enjoy
