How much does my buck score?
 

Hes a main frame 8 with a split browtine. So a 9 point. Also how old do you think he is?

Without knowing where your from I would guess your buck is 2 1/2 years old and would probably scor about 107 gross or so. Did you measure him?

I'd say most of the guesses are pretty close on. Good length on the G2's. Looks about 16" wide looking at his ears. Beautiful buck. Proly bout 2 1/2 years old. Congrats on the harvest.

That's a slick young buck, congrats. He's right around that 110" mark. Great buck regardless of score.

not much mass but has good height. similar to my 02 buck 8 pointer that did manage to score 128 3/4

Instead of having everyone guess, just put a tape measure to him! :eek:

That's what I was thinking. Measure the length of his beams, thelength of his tines and 4 circumference measurements from each side. Post those numbers as well as his inside spread and we can give you a better idea.

Who really gives a hoot what he measures. It's a nice buck and that is all that should really matter here. Hunting these days seems to be all about what the score is like in a dumb football or baseball game. Years ago I bet 1 in 1000 hunters even knew that there was a measuring system for deer. Nobody cared in the least. Hunters were happy with anything they were lucky enough to get!

He is a great buck, especially for a bow kill. He most likely thinks the deer is close to P&Y and wants to know if it would be a good idea to have him officialy scored. I know that I would like to be in the record book!

I'm somewhat amazed at the number of people who post on here asking what does my Buck score? Just put a tape measure to them!

Well youre going to get deducted on the split brow tine, but the rest of the rack is pretty nice, not much mass so youll lose some points there, id say 105-108
