Ok here are some pics that Everson asked me to post for him. The first one is of a big deer that was killed in ND.(I think) The next two pics I think are his daughter?? I'm not sure, he'll have to tell us the story, but that is one monster that girl is holding!!

The girl is my daughter, that is her first deer. Dry scored 148 7/8, one shot through both lungs at 175 yds with 243.

i live by Devil's Lake North Dakota. like by a town called warwick i live on a farm. the last 2 years we have taken 5 bucks over 21 inch spread. the smaller one have been like 4 by 4's and 3 by 3's my first one was a 14 inch 3 by 3. we have not had big bucks around my part of north dakota until 2 or 3 years ago.

i saw that huge buck it is nice. great shot keverson. very nice buck too

I brought this back to answer Adui13, if you knew you had deer like this to hunt in your area would you be satisfied with the first spike or forkhorn you see. You have to pass little bucks if you want a chance at something bigger. Personally I don,t care what others shoot its their business, but I take my vacation to hunt, and I hunt for old mature bucks.

Everson, I like your though process. We have some pretty decent deer here as well. And these aren't the only places. If more people would pass up on those spikes, forks, six and eight pointers to let these deer mature then the chances of seeing mature bucks would increase dramatically. Not only that ,but it would be so much better for the herd overall. Let the dominant bucks rise and breed like it's supposed to happen, instead of having a ton of spikes and forks do the breeding. Awesome bucks, and nice philosophy.

175 yard double lung shot. Great job! The only problem with having a buck like that as your first is that it's that much harder to get a bigger one. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Congrats
