Use one of those daytime drippers over a real or mock scrape with some ActiveScrape from WildLife Reshearch and mix it with some doe pee or tarsel gland sent.

I would try leaving him a note on your trail cam that says to come by your tree during daylight hours so you can get a shot at him! haha.
Thats my attempt at being funny....

I would also set up close to his bedding area and try to get him coming or going. good luck!
