I hunt mainly in Grant and Boone County Kentucky in the heart of this EHD disease and i have yet to find a single deer affected by it ..... I guess I'm lucky and I hope it stays that way.

I think I jinxed myself. I went out this morning and found a fresh 10 point dead we have been getting pictures of him. He has a white eyeball. So I know for sure it is the same deer. Probably a 2 1/2year old10 point. Not a shooter but a good one to let grow. Prolly 125 incher. This sucks bad. We need a frost.

Well just got back from hunting, and found another dead buck! I was walking a ravine back from my treestand after hunting, and seen a dead 3 point laying in the bottom. That brings the count up to 3-8 points, 2-10 points, 1-9 point, 1-3 point, and a 4 point. Plus 2 does. 10 deer total on our 350 acre farm dead so far. There could even be more we haven't found yet. I did see a nice buck this morning though. About a 125 inch 8 point. Had him at 5 yards. Only a 2 1/2 year old deer. I let him walk. Needs 2 more years.

We took ropes and tied the antlers to trees, so the coyotes wouldn't drag them away. Were gonna wait until the bugs, and animals get them cleaned up for us. That way they don't smell to bad.
