Metallica, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Nirvana if it's rock. Waylon, Hank Jr.,Merle, Skynardis what I mostly listen to in the woods though.

Most country songs are too mushy/crybaby-ish for me, it stresses me out! Some are outright weird when you listen to the lyrics. It's like listening to rap with a southern drawl.

I listen to whatever on the way up, radio, talk radio, misc. rock cd's, but as soon as I get up in the mountains, it'sturned off. Generally in the remote areas all you get on the radio is a spanish radio station!

I agree 100%! Rap all sounds the same to me, and so does country. In both types of music these so called musicians are all clones of each wearing the same hats, clothes, etc.. It is really quite nauseating to look and listen to any of them.

ORIGINAL: Nefarious12

Mossy Oaksong pass it on- Tracy Byrd
Great song! Reminds me of growing up learning to hunt with my dad. Some of the best hunts I ever had were just the two of us back in the woods where i grew up.

Other good ones I like:
2nd week of Deer Camp- Da Yoopers as previously mentioned
30 point buck- by Bananas at Large or Da Yoopers, not sure who

ORIGINAL: huntnma

that hunting song by Josh turner
I believe you're thinking of Backwoods Boy another one of my favorite hunting songs.

Some other favorites of mine:
Simple Man- Lynyrd Skynyrd
One Damn Deer- not sure who it's by but I've got it downloaded
Down on the Farm- Tim McGraw
Country by The Grace Of God- Chris Cagle
Any Metallica or ACDC or GNR also works well

Almost Forgot:
Happiness is a Warm Gun- Beatles
