Default where have they gone?

I have one weekend left to bowhunt. I was seeing deer everytime I went out for awhile then all of a sudden they are gone I haven't seen one the last 4 or 5 times I have went out it's like they have vanished. Do they go nocturnal for awhile or just stay close to bedding areas or what? Anybody know what they do in late, late season??

Default RE: where have they gone?

Welcome to New Hampshire....Seriously it's a tough call. I don't know how much snow you have there in the mid-west and that can certainly have an affect on the deer. Nocturnal?, I don't think so, bedding areas?, don't think so either. I would suspect that food is their number one priority, but that would depend on the amount of hunting pressure as well. I think I would concentrate of their food source and hopefully you will see more deer activity in those places....Good Luck.
