gonna get it for a brush gun for deer. yes or no
i will be shooting no more than 100 yds open sights

I live and hunt in NH! I've been using a Marlin lever action 30/30 open sight my whole life! Drops em every time! Iron sights are super quick to acquire a target. Good luck

If you want a brush gun get a .45-70, a .444, .600 Nitro, .577 Tyrano, .700, a .416 or somethin like that. j/k

IMO I would get a slug gun and it probly wouldnt cost as much as the
30-30 .
