Illinois Monster Bucks..
 

Go to this link & look at these bucks.. The two in the middle were shot in the same area as I hunt. What do you think the live deer would score? he's probably close to or over 300lbs!

He could be close to 300 lbs. It reminds me of the buck I was chasing for 3 years, never did get a shot at him and never heard of anyone getting him.

I'm sure he's pushing 300lbs but what do you think his rack will score? His brow tines are probably 8" long & he's probably 25"+ wide.. I'm guessing 160-170's & he's just an 8 pointer!

My guess is about 170 give or take a couple.

He's definately a regular at the Burger King! 300 pounds (+?).

By the way, what county if you don't mind me asking.

are all the pics of live deer of the same buck?

Their racks always look alot wider from behind. If thats the same buck in the pic with the 3 does and the fence I dont think hes 25" wide. He's abit wider than his ears but not 25".

For sure its a very nice buck but it takes on HELLUVA 8 pointer to reach 170". He may be flirting with 160 but I doubt 170.

I'm in Champaign Co.. The deer w/the doe's was a smaller buck that I saw with the big one, he's not bad either.. I tried to get a shot of the big one facing me but he had other plans. Several other guys that hunt the area have guessed him at 24-25" wide! & I know what you mean about looking wider going away what it takes for an 8 pointer to score that high, when he's looking at ya you can see he is 5-6" past his ears! When I first saw this deer I thought he was a very nice 10 but after seeing him several times I discovered he was a massive 8. I just wish you guys could see these deer first hand.. lol I saw a buck tonight that was AMAZING!! I'll try to get him on film & show everyone. Later, Phil B.
