Droughts Affects

Ok so as everyone knows the south is in a big drought. Anyone have any ideas how or if this will affect the hunting this year? Also will that affect the planting of food plots? Just some thoughts....

Don't plant your plots till you have sufficient moisture or your wasting your time and money. I want to plant in a month, but if it is still dry I'll wait till Nov if I have to.

No diffrent than last year ...Some seed companys make their product just for this kind of weather..Read the bag..Dont plant seed that needs alot of moisture to keep it growing..Some fields hold moisture better than others..If you can get a shovel in it go ahead and plant..if you cant wait a while..Most seed in the south doesnt get planted until 1st or 2nd week in Sept. anyway..If the ground is to hard go ahead and turn it over anyway to loosen the soil for rain when it does give it a day to dry and then sow your seed.. Hope this helps..Happy hunting in 07';)
