Ever return the favor???
 

My dad starting taking me hunting when i was 5 yrs old---Double barrell cork gun was the weapon of choice!--Got a used Rem 870--12 gauge when i was 12--Killed my first deer at age 13--101/2 inch cowhorn spike--
That was in 1973-- my dad put me on the stand--

Jump ahead the year is 2005 I sat up up a ground blind,planted a food plot,and been keeping those yellow acorns on the ground,My dad who at the time was 75 set in it and killed a big doe---

Probaly the most memorable hunt of my life--Have ya'll returned the favor I would like to hear them!!!!

I love taking people, especially kids out hunting! Im only 20 myself and Ive taken a kid out turkey hunting and he got one and I also took my younger cousin out deer hunting last year and got him his first buck! (he has gotten some does) I tell you there is no better reward than seeing there faces when they are successful!

I shot my first deer sometimes around 1967, all the people that I started hunting with are either dead or long since just a memory. I got a big kick a couple of years ago when my two grandsons killed their first deer with me, moreso than any of the deer I have shot.

I've taken my nephews to my hunting camp with me & given them shotguns and bows.I've also taken my nieces fishing.Now my one niece(she's deaf)wants to learn how to shoot a bow so if she gets the ok from her mom,I'll pick her up a used recurve and take her shooting with me

my dad sarted taking me hunting before i can remember it was all waterfowl but the day i was old enough and killed my first goose that was memerable, this will only be my first year deer hunting and second big game, but in the mean time ive been teaching my nephues the basics and gun safety, when they kill their first game, whatever it is im sure it will be memerable
