My sister's first deer. She decided two years ago at the age of 46 to try hunting! She got this 9 pt last season. She can't wait to start hunting again this season.

Her 'guide' in the picture is my wonderful hubby who sat with her most of the time. Hegave up alot of hisown hunting timebut he didn't mind at all. I think he was more excited than her when she got this buck!

That's how I was at first. Then I started going still hunting and I've seen so many different animals it's wonderful! My husband and I take lunch in our packs and stay most of the day. 99%of the time we sit separately and text message each other on our cell phones what we see. We have a blast! It's my relaxing time away from the stresses of work, neighbors, etc. And every now and then I get to see a buck!

My second from 2005. My best year so far. No bucks last season. Hoping to get the approximately 130 class buck my husband let walk last season!

CONGRATS!!! My wife took her first deer last year with black powder and now she is hooked! I just want to thank all involved in huntingfor making all the women in this sport feel so welcomed!

My daughter Morgan's first deer from last season. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or her! She'll tell you in hurry that girls can take just as many deer as boys can!
