My sister's first deer. She decided two years ago at the age of 46 to try hunting! She got this 9 pt last season. She can't wait to start hunting again this season.

Her 'guide' in the picture is my wonderful hubby who sat with her most of the time. Hegave up alot of hisown hunting timebut he didn't mind at all. I think he was more excited than her when she got this buck!

My wife loves to go when i doghunt--Likes to hear the dogs run--She don't think she has the patience to still hunt--Maybe one day!!

Excellent performance ladies, and congrats. You both picked nice deer for your first kills. Now if I can just get my wife to try it, I would probably hunt a lot more.

That's how I was at first. Then I started going still hunting and I've seen so many different animals it's wonderful! My husband and I take lunch in our packs and stay most of the day. 99%of the time we sit separately and text message each other on our cell phones what we see. We have a blast! It's my relaxing time away from the stresses of work, neighbors, etc. And every now and then I get to see a buck!
