What do some of you guys suggest when nothing in the woods seems alive on late winter blue bird days. It seemed my area was torn up with fresh tracks every morning but for 4 days I didn't see but 10 deer total. Even squirrels and predators were absent. The weather was frosty in the am and no more than 50 in the days but the sun was bright.

I do alot of stalking and glassing on those type days I have been very successful with it,it takes some trial and error if you have never done it but once you master it it's great

Walk 25-50 yards slowly then stay put for about 10-15 minutes. Deer are curious and will look at what is making the noise. The important part is to stay quiet during the 10-15 minutes if you have two people you both can work from opposite ends of the woods use frs radios and chances are you might kick a few up for each other.
