In SC the deer start rubbing the last 2 weeks of August. Our season starts in 8 days in the lower state so people can hunt for velvet bucks. Yesterday's highwas 101 degrees and still 91 at 9:00 pm. I think I'll be waiting awhile to hunt. That ain't fun!
