Default Well guys and gals, any last minute advice?

First time deer hunting. Done the scouting since early August and spent many hours in the area, got a few spots picked out. Saturday is the only doe day in my area, so anything without spots is game.

With all the holiday stuff and public land passes for the first 9 days gone...I am finally going. 13 bucks have been harvested since the beginning of primitive season. They will hand out 70 doe tags Saturday morning, and I intend to get one. Camo is washed and descented, backpack is packed, 30-30 rifle and .44 blackhawk sighted in and dead-eye dick is the triggerman.

I will be on the ground (unfortunately) with a blind on one side and in several spots I have downed tree roots to cover my back.

Anyone got any last minute advice?

Is truth absolute or is it relative?

blues, the wind can not be emphasized enough, movement is second, take your time and be patient, pick a spot on the deer to shoot, there is a big difference between a target and an animal. Once you see one you wish to shoot, forget the animal as a whole, pick a spot in the kill zone and use that as your bullseye and squeeze the trigger. Good Luck blues! Now get your rearend back to the political forum!!! LOL
