FUNNEL AREA GOOD OR BAD?
I hunt in Illinois and I hunt private ground but it's not real big like twenty-thirty acres. I htink I found afunnel but I'm not sure hopefully you can help me. there's a harvested soybean field that now has grass in it but a little clover spreasd through out it this is like five acres and its bordered by tree's it looks like a u then on the other side theres a harvested corn field there's a path thta was made by the owmer for his kids to ride there four wheelers. they use it but i don't know when I've seen two does in the grass patch and prints that go from the corn to the clover and vise versa. What do think a good spot or not?

My definition of a funnel is a little finger of woods that runs between two big patches of woods or a finger of woods that runs from a big patch of woods to a field. I really don't get what you are saying but it might be a funnel.

Well it sounds like a funnel to me. If I read your posting correctly it sounds like there is a narrow strip of woods connecting two bigger tracts of wood and separating two fields. Yes that's a funnel.
