drs1961, you hunt in Orangeburg? I live in Dorchester.
I tooka state record book buck from a farm in Rowesville a few years ago. Now,most of our Orangeburg county hunting is over by Santee. I'm going to tryto huntthe refuges again this year, weather permitting.

Very nice bucks, I like those sticker points on that one. That's a prime example of what letting them mature will get you.

I know the Cordray's very well. Fantastic people! Make the absolute best venison summer sausage you'll ever eat. And those Jalepeno Cheddar snack sticks... oh man... I only have one package left in the freezer and I've moved to VA

I hunted just down county line road from them. Right off Hyde Park, backed up againest Tea Farm and the headwaters of Rantowles Creek. Shot a pile of deer out there.

Those are two very nice SC Lowcountry bucks.

Are you hunting on Cherrokee? I know a few folks who hunt in/around Yemassee.

This may be a silly question for you Yemassee boys, but any of you ever been to Harolds CC? You'll know if you have, a roudy joint, old gas staion/shop turned bar/resturant.

Swamp,
I usually do Hamburger, Bologna, Maple link sausage, and meatloaf. that meatloaf is a killer.

I think I was about 12 the first time I went to Harold's, and they've still got the same fan belts hangin on the wall now. It used to be a nice place until that Martha Stewart started hangin around...I guess I just don't like to associate with known fellons.
