daughter and hunting

My 7 yr old daughter shot her first deer last year and acts like she is going to enjoy hunting I hope. I am just afraid she is going with me though to make me happy so she doesn't dissappoint but I would never be dissappointed If she never hunted with me again just sad. But wondering if anyone had an opinion or some advice about daughters getting into hunting she really doesn't like to shoot guns but loves to shot her genisis bow. I only let her shoot a cricket 22 to practice with and she never shot her deer rifle until shegot iton a deer and she mad a perfect shot with Rem. Model 700 youth .243. But I was just wondering I don't won't to push her if she doesn't want to hunt and then I don't want to dissappoint her if she does

TN Deer Hunter,

As long as youre not putting pressure on her then I wouldnt let the thought ponder your mind. Enjoy! every moment and make memories because thats what life is all about. As long as when the season comes around, she is excited about going then all is good. If you and your Daughter have the bond that I think yall have then you will know when she has lost the love.

God Bless!

Let her enjoy hunting at her own pace. Some kids just don't like hunting, but I think you will know if that happens.

I f she has not said anything then i would not worry about it. If she does not like shooting guns but likes bows then get her into that. It is good to hear that not just a youngster, but a young lady is out in the woods.

You're on the right track, take her as long as she keeps asking to go.
