My first deer I got mounted took over a year, from one hunting season until almost the end of the next. I called the taxidermist and he was a real jerk. So my last deer I shot I took it to someone else and it took him 3 months to get it done! I shot it in december and when I took it in he said I'll have it done in march, and byGod he did.And he was very professional, and fast. It cost a little more, but the service was so much better.
