Hi,this was my first hunting season that I got to hunt in a streestand (it was a latter) but some sorry good for nothing person stoll it right out of my yard.Well any way I got to go hunting this year my first time in the ladder 5 minutes had gone by &here came this huge body deer & it was a spike it was real young but had a realy huge body.It probally wieghd 250 it was 28 or 29 yards I was full draw I was going to shoot but I wanted it to come closer so I could get a better shot but he just walked on i did not see him all year and the last day of shotgun I was getting out of my tree and i saw him on the hill chaseing a dow it was about 5:00 just getting dark my first buck that I wanted to kill was going knokternal and I would never get a shot at him but you never know there is always next year.

Sweet! But...250lbs/spike? Thats kinda big for a spike, or any young deer. But God has his way for everything, so something good will happen, just wait...

I would rather see you wait for a better shot then shoot and wound it.Think how much bigger he will be next year.Good Luck

Congratulations on your patience for waiting. If you wounded the deer and couldn't find it you'd have felt bad.
Now you have a good reason for huntimg next year!

You are better off waiting and not shooting. Shooting does not mean you'd get the deer. Not getting one isn't the end of the world. Good job in the patience dept.
