Federal Expanders
 

My friend was telling me about these Federal Barnes Expanders sabots. They claim 2" groups or better at 100 yards. Any of you guys use these before? How did they work, advantages/disadvantages compared to other sabots/rifled slugs?

Some guns will shoot some ammunition better than others. Try them, as well as a couple of other brands and see which one your gun likes best.

what barrel are you shoothing them from? more importantly what is its twist rate. 90% of hunters over look this and think their is a "best" slug out there. all barrel like diff. slugs. from my experiance slower twist rates like slower(<1700fps) bullets that are full bore size attached sabot slugs and the faster 1:28 twist barrels seem too like the 45cal.fall away higher velocity sabots
