why are the deer diggin holes right in my corn its aout 1 foot deep

Are you sure it's the deer? Last year we had a problem with ferral hogs doing the same thing. They would put away 200 pounds of corn a week. It was worth it though. They sure were good cooked on the smoker!!!

deer will dig in sweetpotato fields to get at the taters.or dig to get at minerals.
Don't know why they would dig in the corn.
check out the tracks to be sure it is deer.

all i could see was scrape marks that looked like deer and could make out a track that looked like deer could be pig but we dont have any around here

Cord,

Is your field picked clean of corn? Could they be diggin for corn that is buried in the ground?

Deer onmy property have ate evry last bit of corn and are really working for anything they can find including diggin a little. Don't thimk I have seen one a foot deep.

its not in the corn fields its where i put bags of corn out

What's below your corn? Are you mixing the corn with anything?
