Deer Processing/ Video

I just got my deer back and found out that the butcher didnt do a good job at all. I paid $79 and none of the meat was deboned or the fat wasnt cut off. It looked like he just sawed everything and never made one cut, so i decided to start doing them my self. I need info on where i can get a video to help me get started so if any of you know of a good video it would help me and save me money. Thanks James

RE: Deer Processing/ Video

James,

Man, by what you said that butcher did a number on your meat. My processor charges me sixty buck for the works, some have told me on this board that this is too much, but talk about a top notch job!

Just like my meat managers and meat dept. employees at my supermarket.

Either, check out some other locations or as far as videos, I have seen a offer on this very site on the home page offering a video on buthching deer, check it out.

Hope you have better luck. Happy holidays!
