You can also just get a salt block from the local farm store and stick it on a stump. It will soak in and also get rid of your stumb for ya. We put a used salt block that was in the steer pen and took it out to the woods to get rid of it, since the steers were gone. I put a little block on the same stump once a year. Everytime I go out there, there is fresh tracks all around the stump.

I have tried the powder stuff that they have for deer at the sporting goods store and they never touch it

I used to use the Rock, but switched this spring to Champs Minerals. I have Deer/Elk tearing this spot up! I see so many animals utilizing the minerals that I don't think I be switching back to the Rock!

I also tried the Deer Cocaine, nothing touched it!

Where can you find Champs Minerals? Might give it a try.

I promise you, it will work MUCH better than a simple salt block. Honestly though, I haven't been able to use the recipe for a few years now here in Illinois but still know of several friends in other states that use it. With the scare of CWD, IL made it completely illegal to use ANY mineralsat any time of year. [&:]
